Shelter & Lotus Relief Set

These Sculptures are my relief versions of my full round sculptures Shelter and Lotus.

This product is for both sculptures intended as a set.

Shelter is a companion piece to Lotus. This sculpture depicts a strong woman bearing through the storm that rages on behind her. Hunching over and learning to shield (or Shelter) herself from the storm. She is elevated to represent her ability to rise above the storm and overcoming her trials.

Lotus is a companion piece to Shelter.  This woman is in a storm, yet she faces the storm accepting and embracing whatever difficulties come her way. She is strong in the winds of the storm. I named the sculpture Lotus because the Lotus flower is a symbol of purity, rebirth, and divinity. It is born out of muck and mud but blooms clean and pure with the coming of each day. It is a reminder that our challenges make us stronger.

Sculpture Details:

This sculpture has been cast in Fiber Reinforced Concrete. The sculpture is strong and durable as well as lightweight making it ideal for hanging on your wall. This piece is best displayed in a location where it can receive a strong downward light.
