Momentum – Bronze Sculpture

Sculpture Narrative:

In my sculpture Momentum, the young man is in mid back-flip, and at the point of no return. If he attempts to stop what he is doing he will crash to the ground. He keeps his eye his goal knowing that if he continues in his course momentum will carry is body around to a safe landing. The sculpture looks off balanced yet feels balanced because the viewer can see the movement of the figure, and where it will lead him if he continues.
